Luiss University will offer ten scholarships to Ukrainian students. The prestigious Italian University recently announced it would adopt “a series of actions aimed at concretely supporting the population and restoring hope for young Ukrainians in these dramatic hours.”

According to a press statement, “Luiss Guido Carli University, in line with the appeal of the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities, expresses full solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are defending their right to democracy and independence.
The reaction of the European Union and the commitment of Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the Italian Government to help Ukraine represent only a first step to isolate the aggressors, rejecting an invasion that tramples on the fundamental principles of freedom and sovereignty of Ukraine.
For these reasons, Luiss University is launching a series of actions aimed at concretely supporting the population of this country.

In particular, Luiss has decided to set up a fund of 10 scholarships for Ukrainian students, committing to helping restore hope for young Ukrainians in these dramatic hours. Knowledge and skills are fundamental levers to redesign the future of a nation.”
