This Friday, January 22nd, the Embassy of Italy in Greece together with the Italian Institute of Culture has launched LogInItaly, an innovative virtual review devoted to different sectors of the Italian culture. People in Greece will have the opportunity to access an online platform with very diversified and continuously updated cultural contents until April 16th. From cinema to music, from design to fashion, from theatre to science, from food and wine to art and literature, the users will be able to follow several paths to know better or deepen the many facets of the Italian culture.

In the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, an important space will be dedicated to the Great Poet with a review full of conferences, readings and musical performances inspired by the Divine Comedy. Also, two reviews will be focused on the Italian cinema, well known and much loved in Greece: one dedicated to the great classics and the other devoted to young authors. Finally, there will be moments for the Italian theatre with its most representative interpreters and for the Italian cuisine with its extraordinary food and wine offer as well.

LogInItaly has the aim to continue spreading Italian culture in an historical difficult period due to the sanitary emergency in all over the world. In this purpose, the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Greece have decided to point on the digital system, using the new platforms in order to reach a large pool of users with a wide planning of over three months. All initiatives will be accessible by registering on the appropriate platform according to the calendar.

LogInItaly – realized also with the collaboration of the cultural association A.I.A.L. based in the Leros Island – is part of the wider initiative “Tempo Forte Italia-Ελλάδα”, successfully promoted by the Italian Embassy since 2017. The propose is to accompany and enhance the collaboration between Italy and Greece in the cultural sector and to support the numerous initiatives carried out in this area by public and private entities of the two countries.
