A consortium formed by the companies Enel X Brazil, Mobit and Selt Ingegneria won the tender for the supply of public lighting services in the city of Macapà, capital of the State of Amapà, in the north of Brazil.
The future concessionaire will be responsible for the modernization, expansion and maintenance of the municipal public lighting network of Macapà for a period of 20 years, with expected investments of approximately 15 million euros.

This is the second tender for public lighting services won by Enel X after that last May for the city of Angra dos Reis, a coastal tourist center of about 200,000 inhabitants in the State of Rio de Janeiro. This contract will have a duration of 15 years, for a total investment of approximately 3.4 million euros. The project involves the modernization of 20,000 LED lighting points in the municipality of Angra, as well as the installation of a control center for monitoring the system 24 hours a day.
